🧑‍🏭: Your voice found again

Hello Reader,

I'm not the one to post sob stories on social media.

I get a rash on my eyes when I see white, straight men from the US complaining about the make-believe hardships they've read about in some self-development book.

Harsh? Yeah, maybe. But I have a reason behind it:

Over the last year, I've met exceptional creative entrepreneurs.

Their ideas left me inspired for weeks.

Their grit motivated me to take leaps into the unknown.

Their perseverance stayed with me when things got hard.

But there's one problem:

They're invisible.

Unless you jump on the call with them, you can't experience their energy.

And if you're reading this newsletter, there's a huge chance you're one of those people.

You get lost among all the noise generated by social media gurus, fluffluencers, and toxic productivity bros.

You try to be louder, different, more niche, less niche, funnier...

And it doesn't work.

Today, this struggle ends.

Over the last year, I gathered ~20K people on my Twitter (which I then ditched, but that's a story for a whole other email) and ~8K people on LinkedIn.

Cool numbers, huh? But you know what's cooler?

I know how to serve the needs of those people. I know what to say and how to say it to build a connection with them.

One that turns them from one-time visitors to long-time followers.

And it all starts with the Content Mission Statement:

Craft your content mission statement

Your Content Mission Statement is a damn useful tool to identify your niche.

It looks a bit like the IKIGAI diagram but has fewer elements to help you focus on the right things:

Put simply, to define your niche, you need to be 100% clear about:

  1. Who you're going to help (Your Audience)
  2. What do you want to talk about in your content (Your Topics)
  3. How is it going to help your audience (Their Wins)

The intersection between all three elements defines the niche you should target with your content.

I don't want to make this email too long, so I recorded an entire video about Content Mission Statement and a few more things you need to kickstart your content creation journey:

Let's get practical 🧑‍🏭

Watch the video (the first tip starts at 1:15) and craft your content mission statement.

When you're done, take a pic of it and send in a response to this email.

I'll give you my feedback in a quick Loom. Hope it helps! 😊
